Common Uses
Zoloft is in class of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, antidepressant. It is primarily used in treatment depression in adults and different mind disorders like: panic, anxiety, posttraumatic stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder or premenstrual dysphoric disoder. Also Zoloft may be used by other conditions in accordance with your doctor's prescription.

How to Take
The dosage of Zoloft is prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than recommended to avoid potential danger for your health. Zoloft can be taken with or without food. Taking medicine at the same time each day will, help you remember to take it and it will have better effect of use. The usual starting dose for adults to treat depression is 50 mg a day.
